He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harger and Florence Harger; and his sister Florence Mooney. He is survived by: his wife Karan-Sue Harger (Callan); his children, Michael Mish (Meghan) and Melissa Mish; his grandson Nicholas Atkins (Holly); his brother Gary Harger (Barbie); and his nieces, Shaylen Harger, Beth Stokes (Eric), Kim Mooney (Greg Walsh) and Tracey Mooney. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. John Xxiii Parish (300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516).
