She is survived by: her children, Daniel Penn, Andrea Penn, Shawn Thomas (Rondell) and Sherree Bolden; her stepchildren, Linton Laurent, Justin Laurent, Jason Laurent and Christine Marina; her grandchildren, Autumn Penn, Matthew Elder, Mahoganie Elder, Alexis McMillan, Christopher Ransome, Trinity Dawson, Gary Ross, Giovanni Bolden, Gia Bolden, Grayson McMillan, Khazir Smith, Harmony Smith and A'Joni Ross; her siblings, Donnell Counsel, Willie Penn-Cousel, Eddie Penn, Carnetta Penn and Markisha Penn; and her goddaughter Lynisha Barr. She is also survived by her family, friends, the children.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Chapel (50 Dwight St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
