“Besides being a complex, loving and creative person, David was a great supporter of other creatives. Not just supporting them but deeply appreciating the work of others in all of the arts, most especially in visual and musical arts. Though he would sometimes present himself as an outspoken "angry human," his was a righteous anger at the hypocrisy and inequities of our times and it was grounded in decency and love. He was one-of-a-kind, out-of-this-world human and will be missed by his friends.”
