He was predeceased by: his siblings, Stephon Richardson and Natasha Franklin; and his grandmother Dorothy Richardson. He is survived by: his parents, Ann Richardson and Terrance Hicks; his wife Wanda Coleman-Richardson; his children, Rashida Richardson (Carl Slater) and Stephon Richardson; his granddaughter Zora Slater; and his brother Nolan Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Donald also received commendation from the State of Connecticut for his contributions to the state's Enhanced 9-1-1 Commission, which advises on statewide emergency 9-1-1 telephone systems.
