With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Driend of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Smyth and Margaret Dolan Smyth; her siblings, Mary Cannon, John and James Smyth; and her siblings-in-law, Regina Ventura, Michael Bohan and Hubert James Cannon.
She is survived by: her husband Martin E. Driend; her son Martin F. Driend (Taryn); her grandchildren, Camdyn, Luke and Kelson; her siblings, Margaret Bohan of Hamden, Bridget O'Dea (Tommy) of New Haven, Celia Smith (Denis) of Leitrim, Ireland, Gerald (Mariam) of Leitrim and Patrick (Imelda) of London, England; and her sister-in-law Ann Smyth of Hamden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
