He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Grether and Marie Effinger Grether; and his brother Robert Grether Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Donovan Grether; his daughters, Tricia Kemperle (Timothy), Karen Grether, Maureen Kery (Michael), Michele Cummings (Matthew) and Jennifer Grether; his grandchildren, Jack, Avery Kemperle, Molly, Maggie Kery, Matthew, Caroline and Toby Cummings; his brother Edward Grether (Thea); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Grether.
