It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genaro Sanchez of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Bracero and Jenaro Sanchez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sanchez; his children, Genaro Sanchez (Jennifer Estrada), Sherwin Sanchez (Janet Sanchez), Jesenia Sanchez (Manuel Ramon) and Jesus Sanchez (Bella Castro); his grandchildren, Mary Ruiz, Yandel Sanchez, Adrian Zavala, Jessmary Zavala, Mateo Ramon, Jariellyz Sanchez, Jeneiryz Sanchez, Jaynette Sanchez, Sherwin Jr. Sanchez, Wizdalyz Sanchez, Jovanni Sanchez, Genesis Sanchez, Jaxon Sanchez and Serena Sanchez; his stepgrandchildren, Yeniel and Yaneisy; and his siblings, Oscar Sanchez, Carmen Sanchez, Pedro Sanchez, Alvin Estrella and Jose Estrella.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keenan Funeral Home - West Haven (238 Elm St, West Haven, CT 06516). A wake will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Keenan Funeral Homes – Elm Street Chapel (238 Elm St, West Haven, CT 06516). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519). A procession will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
