George Apuzzo of West Haven, Connecticut passed away on September 22, 2026. George, born on September 21, 1945, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
George will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew George will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. George’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Apuzzo (Victoria Apuzzo) and Linda R. Apuzzo. He is survived by: his daughters, Victoria Szostek (John), Michelle Piascik (Edward) and Jo-Ann Apuzzo; his grandsons, Benjamin Piascik and Ben; and his sister Joyce Gaudette of Ypsilanti, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
