Gloria D'Amato Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria D'Amato of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cebula and Sophia Jasinkowsky Cebula of West Haven; her husband Vincent; and her sisters, Mary Bloomer, Lucille Debattista and Adele D'Agostino.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Matakaetis (Richard) and Alan D'Amato (Susan); her grandchildren, Gregory Matakaetis (Treissa), Eric Matakaetis (Jennifer), Ryan Matakaetis (Katelyn) and Stacey Tuttle (Cameron); and her great grandchildren, Keelan Matakaetis, Madelynn Tuttle, Morgan Tuttle and Mason Matakaetis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gloria's name may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 100 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38181 or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
