He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Drummond Cassel; and his sisters, Rebecca Maheu and Anne Cassel. He is survived by: his daughters, Jaime Shippy (Lewis) and Jennifer Lafountain (Vincent); his grandsons, Jake Ambrose, Zach and Evan Shippy; and his sister Gertrude Wiltbank of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
