It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Giannotti of West Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Sullivan and Frances Shopis Sullivan Tyler; her son John; and her brother William "Billy" Sullivan. She is survived by : her daughter Jill Giannotti of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Alexis, Jaylah, Jordynn and Jackson; her sisters, Patricia Contaxis of Milford, Rosemary Sullivan of Haddam, Karen Grego of East Haven, Marie Corriveau and Nancy Schebell of West Haven; her stepsisters, Diane Buckholz of Ansonia and Debbie Dolan; and her foster sister Cindy Mitola of Middletown.
