With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Pickering Sr. of West Haven, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his significant other Rosemary Sullivan Pickering; and his siblings, MaryEllen Ahern, Micky Peterson, Sheila Peterson and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Pickering, John G. Pickering, Jr. (Linda), Brian Pickering (Martha), Patrick Pickering (Kerri) and Matthew Pickering (Karen); his grandchildren, Ryan Pickering (Anna) and Shawn Pickering (Jess); his daughter-in-law Krista Pickering; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Charlee; his siblings, Kate Burns (Michael), Elizabeth Szollosi and Francis Buddy Peterson; and his grandson Conor Patrick Pickering.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New England Donor Services, (neds.org) in recognition of his grandson Conor.
