He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J Genovese and Rose Genovese (Botte). He is survived by: his wife Mary Genovese (Wendt); his children, Joseph Genovese (Antoinette), Jody Ortiz (Steven) and Jamie Genovese (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Joseph Genovese Jr., Christina Kubasak, Jamie Genovese, Jake Genovese, Esteban Ortiz and JohnCarlos Ortiz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Porto Funeral Home (830 Jones Hill Rd, West Haven, CT 06516). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Church (89 Bull Hill Ln, West Haven, CT 06516).
