We announce the death of Linda Evangeliste O'Brien of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Linda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Daniel Smith (MaryBeth) of West Haven and Audrey Jefferson (Jeff) of West Haven; her grandchildren, Alexandra Soule (Jeremy), Charlie Jefferson, Sean Jefferson (Taylor Balzano), Thomas Smith and Meghan Smith; her great grandchildren, Skylar and Dylan Soule; and her brothers, Clemente Evangeliste Jr. (Teresa) of Orange and John Evangeliste.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (830 Jones Hill Rd, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477).
