He was predeceased by: his father John Bernardo; and his sister Joanne Bernardo. He is survived by: his mother Josephine Melotti Bernardo; his children, Louis "Little Louie" Bernardo Jr. and Daniela Bruneau (Kevin); his grandchildren, J. P. Wayne III, R. J. Bruneau and Selena Norton; and his siblings, John Bernardo, Annette Lamano (Mark), Barbra Doyle and Alma Germe. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Louis's memory to the Dementia Society of America.
