It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louis Bernardo of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Bernardo; and his sister Joanne Bernardo. He is survived by: his mother Josephine Melotti Bernardo; his children, Louis "Little Louie" Bernardo Jr. and Daniela Bruneau (Kevin); his grandchildren, J. P. Wayne III, R. J. Bruneau and Selena Norton; and his siblings, John Bernardo, Annette Lamano (Mark), Barbra Doyle and Alma Germe. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. John Xxiii Parish (300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered in Louis's memory to the Dementia Society of America.
