We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2023, at the age of 86, Marilyn Joan McDaniel of West Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy McDaniel (Butch); her parents, John Downes and Elizabeth Downes; her daughter Marilyn Lawrence; and her siblings, John, Carroll, Vernon, Earle, Tracey, Lauren, Duane Downes, Elenore Mezzanotti, Roberta Morgan and Elizabeth Gorman.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy McDaniel Jr. (Butch) of New Haven, Cheryl Jennings (Edward) of North Haven, Maureen Celone (Michael) of Madison, Kevin McDaniel (Mary) of West Haven, Melanie Lambert (Dan) of Middletown, Dawn McDaniel (Scott Raffone) of Madison and Eric McDaniel of West Haven; and her son-in-law Thomas Lawrence Sr. of West Haven. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
