She was predeceased by : her husband Roger O. Roy; her parents, Harry S. Hines and Margaret Hines (Callahan); and her siblings, James, Jerry, Harry, Larry, Richard, Robert, Bill and Peggy.

She is survived by : her children, Gena Giza (Eddie) of West Haven, Dennis Roy (Liz) of Milford and Judy Anania (Claudio) of West Haven; her grandchildren, Edward "Chuck" Giza (Julianna Monjeau), Justin Giza (Carla Emanuele), Marilisa Anania, Brianna Anania Keenan (Sean), Matthew Anania (Sarah), David Anania, Jesse Roy (Lisa) and Cody Roy; her siblings, George "Butch" Hines and Rosemary (Ed Petrosemolo); and her caregiver Lawrenda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
