He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Elia and Marie Elia (Perrelli); and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his brother Anthony Elia (Lorelei); his sibling's children, Paul (Kristi), Jeff and Anne-Marie Dykstra (Craig); his sister-in-law Linda Farrell (Joseph); his nephew Brian Farrell (Ana); his wife Mary Moninger-Elia; and his friends, Richard and Linda Marra.
