She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Lopez Nieves; her parents, Julio Echevarria and Juana Nieves; her son Edwin Lopez; and her brother Fransisco Echevarria (Juan Echevarria).
She is survived by: her children, Evelin Lopez-Lockhart (Steve Lockhart) of Wallingford and Nelida "Nellie" Ramos (Angel) of West Haven; her daughter-in-law Miriam Lopez of West Haven; her grandchildren, Tiana Lee Ocasio of New Haven, Jessica Bonilla (Frank) of West Haven, Nastassja Alipour (Ashkan) and Angel Ramos Jr. of West Haven; her great grandchildren, Arianna Ocasio (Josh Greer), Yasmin Nesmith, Caleb Bonilla, Felix Alipour and Daria Alipour; and her sisters, Inez Velazquez of New Haven, Clara Echevarria of New Haven and Amalia Santiago of Florida.
