She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph John and Viola St. John; her sister Judi Sciarra; her husband John DiPlacito; and her son-in-law Wayne Capone.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Capone; her grandchildren, Sarah Capone (Travis), Ashley Capone (Chris) and Zachary Capone; and her great grandchildren, Lily "Lucky Penny" McCarter, Ella "Little One" McCarter and Ian "John-John" McCarter.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (871 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
