He is survived by: his brothers, Judge E. Michael Heffernan (Jane) and Robert Heffernan; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Heffernan and Susan Heffernan; and his cousins, Roderick McDonald and Loretta Winch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grand nephews.
