Vera Cusanelli Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2026, at the age of 89, Vera Cusanelli (West Haven, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Domenick and Fannie Domenick (DiDomenico); and her siblings, Madeline Bini, Violet Slater, Lucille Alves, Anthony Domenick, Gerald DiDomenico and Francis DiDomenico.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Bruno (Bill) and Dominic Cusanelli (Erin); her grandchildren, Domenica "Nici" Bruno of West Haven, Sofia Cusanelli of West Haven, Dominic Cusanelli, Jr. of West Haven, Amber Hill of West Haven and Amanda Morrissey (Matthew) of Watertown, CT; her great grandchild Marie Morrissey; her sister Mildred Cerami of Belleville, NJ; and her caregivers, Marsha and Nicole. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Of St. John Xxiii Parish (300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516).
