Ray Sirry wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Mary Ellen, Barbara and I appreciate Vinny's commitment to resolve the issues at Harbour Landing over the years. His leadership and dedicated service proved invaluable to improving Harbour Landing. He struggled to right all the wrongs we faced. We are thankful for his skillful and persistent efforts to make Harbour Landing a better place for us to live. He was an exemplary citizen of Harbour Landing as far as we are concerned. When we needed the services of Columbus Auto Body, Vinny took over and courteously took us under his wing and quickly and efficiently repaired our car. As always, he went the extra mile. He was an exemplary citizen of the business community. He was an exemplary member of the human family, helping all those he could. We are poorer because he has passed on. We know he will continue to be an exemplary citizen on the other side. He will continue to live in our hearts and memories, and in the hearts and memories of you, your children, your grandchildren, and of all his family members. Know that he also enriched our lives.
