She is survived by: her favorite authors, John Grisham, James Patterson and Starbucks; her husband Nathaniel; her children, Robert Yates of West Haven, Shauntier Yates Hitchman (Oneil) of Norwalk and Damon Yates (Heidi) of Charlotte; and her sister Dorothy Correia (Joseph) of Ansonia. She is also survived by her five grandchildren.
