With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Zapp of West Simsbury, Connecticut, born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Zapp to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Dennis G. Zapp; her parents, John Dais and Mary Jane Dais (Crangle); and her son James C. Zapp. She is survived by : her children, Theresa Kowalczyk of Ankeny, IA and Michael Zapp of Simsbury; her siblings, Nancy Schumacher of Surprise and Joe Dais of Green Bay, WI; and her grandchildren, Michael Zapp, Hallie Zapp, Allison Kowalczyk and Andrea Mosby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Village for Families and Children, 1680 Albany Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105.
