It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Cartwright Sr. of Westbrook, Connecticut, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Cartwright and Ida Cartwright (Fava). He is survived by: his wife Janet Cartwright (Gillis); his children, Dawn Fiorelli (Michael) of Madison, Kathleen Cartwright (Vincent) of New Haven and Michael Cartwright, Jr. (Mary) of Milton Township, ME; his siblings, Kathleen Cartwright and Salvatore Malone (Champ); and his grandchildren, John "Jack" Fiorelli, Katherine Fiorelli and Carmen Sophia Cartwright.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Elks Club (44 Maynard St, Middletown, CT 06457).
Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Westbrook Public Library or to Connecticut Public Television.
