He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Connelly and Loraine Connelly (Loechner); his wife Darylle Connelly (Steiner); and his brothers, Peter Connelly and Michael Timothy Connelly.
He is survived by: his children, Sean Connelly (Lisa) of Killingworth, Keri Hagness (Jamie) of Madison, Amye Soboleski (Jeremy) of Ivoryton and Traver Steiner (Christina) of Old Lyme; his grandchildren, Bryce Connelly, Ella Connelly, Kate Hagness, Connor Hagness, Mason Soboleski, Holden Soboleski, Marek Soboleski and Noah Steiner; and his sister-in-law Margo Connelly of Greece, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization that Rick and Darylle supported for many years.
