He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Rosemarie Gwilliam-Thomas of London, UK; and his sister Patricia Clapham of England. He is survived by: his wife Irmgard; his son Alfred, Jr.; his granddaughter Sophia; his sister-in-law Rosemarie Mannino; and his son-in-law Guy Edward Thomas.
