It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Francis McBride of Westport, Connecticut is shared. Charles, born on August 15, 1949, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier McBride and Mary Nichols McBride; his sister Mary McBride Konrad; and his pets, Bogart, Char and Digger.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Meredith Frances and Carten "Chuck" McBride II (Hannah Elizabeth McBride) of Needham, MA; his grandsons, Xavier Jonathan Hack-McBride and Quintin Brooklyn Hack-McBride; and his sisters, Theresa Levy (Chris) and Eileen Margherio (John) of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Harding Funeral Home (210 Post Rd E, Westport, CT 06880). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (1719 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
