We announce the death of Edward Morris Thompson of Wethersfield, Connecticut, born in Waite, Maine, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 94. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Thompson (Pomeroy); his son Brian Thompson; and his siblings, Walter, Hardy, Jack, June and Norma.
He is survived by: his children, Irene Prior (Charles), Linda Thompson, Kathy Thompson and Edward Thompson Jr.; and his caregivers, Stepanie, Tania and Johnny. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
