With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannine I. Leonard of Wethersfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund R. Leonard; her parents, Joseph Dionne and Amelia Dionne (Dufour); and her siblings, Jean, Roland, Leo Paul Dionne, Carmen Pelletier and Irma Hafford.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Leonard (Noreen) of Sellers, SC, Brian Leonard of Atlanta, GA, Lisa Leonard of Hamden and Donna Nguyen (Thanh) of Wethersfield; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Githinji (Stephen), Blake Leonard (Killeen), Edgar Martinez, Tianna Nguyen and Darcie Martinez (Jean); and her great grandchildren, Carver, Archer, Riley, Rey and Leon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, donating many of her creations to nursing homes.
