With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Josephine Olander of Wethersfield, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Josephine left this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas; and her parents, Thomas Barry and Josephine Barry (O'Flynn). She is survived by: her daughter Virginia; her son-in-law Barry Cutkomp; her sons, James, Brian and Thomas Jr. (Jessica); her grandchildren, Kelsey, Aubree, Maggie, Brett, Sophie and Sydney; and her great grandchildren, Dane, Everett, Eden and Blake.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A burial will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Village Cemetery (332 Hartford Ave, Wethersfield, CT 06109).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Jody's memory.
