It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Joseph Guilmet of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Guilmet and Clara Guilmet (Pepin); his wife Phyllis Guilmet (DiCioccio); his siblings, Leo Guilmet, Doris Guilmet and Jacqueline Foster; and his brother-in-law Vincent DiCioccio.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Guilmet-Pruett, Laurie Melesko (Daniel), David Guilmet and Jay Roberts (Ed); his grandchildren, Heather Melesko, Stephen Patla (Corey) and David Melesko (Meaghan); his great grandchildren, Bryce, Riley Jean and Teaghan; Sodik "Sam" Mamadjonov.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lawrence's memory may be made to the Down Syndrome Foundation.
