She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Leon Nelson; and her parents, Hikojiro Kato and Tsutaye Kato. She is survived by: her children, John W. Nelson (Renee M. Nelson), Carol A. Nelson, Priscilla J. Wardwell (Patrick Wardwell) and Brenda L. Maddocks (William Maddocks); and her grandchildren, Daniel J. Nelson, Andrew K. Nelson, Benjamin Perron, Courtney Perron and Alex Perron.
