Maria Gauthier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Gauthier of Wethersfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ion Blaju and Ana Blaju (Persoiu); her siblings, Gheorghe, Petru, Aurel and Elena; and her daughter-in-law Simona Petrosan.
She is survived by: her sons, Marius Petrosan (Monica) and Catalin Petrosan; her siblings, Ioan, Virgil, Victoria, Ana, Valeria and Cornelia; her granddaughters, Andreia Talarico, Cristina Muntean, Adina Petrosan and Madalina Petrosan; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Charlotte and Cole Talarico.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Transfiguration Romanian Orthodox Church (2 Winter St, Manchester, CT 06040). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (17 Wickham Rd, Glastonbury, CT 06033).
