It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Welk Jr. of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Welk, Sr. and Mary Ellen Welk (Monroe). He is survived by: his sister Margaret McClure of East Hartford; and his nephew Matthew McClure.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
