It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Batt of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brown and Dorothy Brown (Kinnane); her sister Sheila Burns; and her daughter-in-law Lea Monarca. She is survived by: her husband Richard Batt; her sons, Morgan Monarca (Melissa) of Middletown and Salvatore Monarca of Huger, SC; her stepchildren, Steven Batt of Storrs, Karen Batt of Swampscott, MA and Chris Batt of North Franklin; her grandchildren, Kyle Monarca, Madeline Monarca, Dalaina Monarca, Addison Batt and Finn Batt; and her siblings, Michael Brown (Ellen) and Mary Kay Chapman (David) of Killingworth. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
