He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Luby, Sr. and Frances Mazur Luby. He is survived by: his wife Linda Martocchio Luby; his daughters, Dana Luby Neves and Erin Luby Melhuish; and his sons-in-law, Paul Neves and Geoffrey Melhuish.
