We announce the death of Elizabeth Cain Paterson (Willimantic, Connecticut), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 85. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cain and Virginia Cain; and her siblings, William and Patricia. She is survived by: her sister Susan McBeth (Robert); her son Thomas Paterson (Janet); her grandchildren, Theresa, Tanya, Michael and Jennifer; her daughter Rebecca Putnam (Timothy); her granddaughter Amy; her great grandchild Stephen Paterson (Chanthou); her former husband Thomas Paterson; Avril, Madelin and Thomas.
