It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert A. Fournier of Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gilbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, James Fournier and Linda Stoute (Timo Stoute); and his grandchildren, Dillion Fournier, Codie DeMao, Timothy Stoute, Danielle Fournier and Victoria Savy. He is also survived by his five great grandchildren.
