Kessenia Gagnon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kessenia Gagnon (Willimantic, Connecticut), who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gilles Gagnon; her daughter Emilia; her son-in-law Keanan Lamb; her parents, Wasyl Kurnyk and Emilia Kurnyk (Colyhan); and her siblings, Irene (Rene Goss), Rose (Stephen Dean), Natalka (Michael Paulhus), Myron (Janine Kurnyk) and Olga Kurnyk Ezis. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Kessenia's passing. We at St Mary's in Colchester asked her to help us out in the singing of the Ukrainian Mass for when the Bishop came to visit us. Beautiful voice she had. We were so grateful that she came to help us out. I remember her as a beautiful and kind person. She went out of her way to help us out. She truly loved her heritage.
