It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Darnell Hayden of Willimantic, Connecticut, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cornelius Hayden and Josephine Hayden (Hayes); his daughter Denise Hayden of Willimantic; his grandsons, Carlos Ovalle, Jaden Ovalle and Mekhi Hayden; his great grandchild Jalani Ovalle; and his sister Nelsie Bailey. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (412 Valley St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
