In loving memory of William L. Strand of Willimantic, Connecticut, born in Queens, New York, who departed this world on May 11, 2026 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Strand (Resnisky); his parents, Louis Strand and Lillian Strand (McNulty); and his friend Beverly Korba. He is survived by: his sons, William (Jennie) of Norwich, Thomas (Christine) of Mansfield Center, Michael of New London and Timothy of Niantic; his grandsons, Andrew, Eric, Bryan and Christopher (Kaitlyn); his sisters-in-law, Sue Anne Pierson of Vienna, VA and Annabel Resnisky of Middletown; Shirley Mustard of Willimantic.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (99 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226).
