We announce the death of Catherine Marie Gilleski in Wilton, Connecticut, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 99. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele Rainone and Nunziata Rainone; her husband Stanley Gilleski; and her siblings, Anne Borkowski and Carl Rainone.

She is survived by: her brother Joseph Rainone (Jackie); her children, Diana Bankowski (Ed) and Joseph Gilleski (Barbara); her grandchildren, Laurie, David, Christoper and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brooke. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
