She was predeceased by : her mother Marie Sherwood (Tangney). She is survived by : her sisters, Martha Sherwood Whittemore (William) and Laura Sherwood Rudish (Russ) of Boca Raton, FL; her nieces, Jessica Rudish (Michael Poko) and Katharine Rudish Steele (Colin); and her nephew Charles Sherwood Rudish.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Karen's memory to RVNAhealth, https://rvnahealth.org Karen's family wishes to express its deep gratitude to the hospice nurses of RVNAhealth and to the caregivers of The Greens at Cannondale, Wilton, CT.
