It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael H. Marushak Jr. of Wilton, Connecticut, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Michael leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Marushak and Edna Marushak. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Marushak (Pettersen); his children, Krystyna (Jeff), Michael (Lynnae) and Jane (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael and Alyssa Marushak; and his sister Barbara Jisonna (Larry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close cousins.
