He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Blust Hammon (Dee); and his siblings, Martin, Bruce and Norma. He is survived by: his sons, Bill, Marty, Jim and Tom; and his sister Jean Ely. He is also survived by wives, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
