He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Peterson Sr. and Olive Peterson (Haversat); and his sister Barbara Kislowski. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Peterson of Mansfield; his children, Dawn Wilkens (Tim) and Edwin Peterson, III; his siblings, Paul Peterson (Janice) of North Carolina, Susan MacDonald (Clinton) of Coventry and James Peterson (Diane) of Washington State; his grandson Jacob Peterson; his nephew Alan Gray (Vera Gray); his great-nephew Justin Gray; and his nieces and nephews, Bethany Bennet, Jennifer Carney, Luke Peterson, Ryan Peterson and Christopher Gray. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Potter's Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department, 4 S. Eagleville Road, Storrs Mansfield, CT 06268.
