Grace Nowak Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Nowak of Windham, Connecticut, born in Rockholds, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Edward; her children, Carol Ploch (Peter) of Apex, NC, Anita Kalenauskas of Waterbury, CT and Steve Nowak (Susanne) of Windham Center, CT.; and her great grandchildren, Nora, Ava Brumfield, Vivienne, Declan Ploch, Nathalie and Ellaria Nowak.
Grace was also a "lifelong learner," getting her first smart phone at 92 (during covid) and learning to FaceTime and text with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it is Grace's special request that any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
