He was predeceased by: his parents, Crispin Quinones and Carmen Cancela; and his son Joaquin Quinones, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Edith Garcia; his children, Nereida Braasch, Agustin Quinones and Martin Quinones; his grandchildren, Alicia Sloan, Michael Angelo, Nathaniel Braasch, Alyssa Quinones, Caitlyn Jaya, Shianne Padilla and Antonio Quinones; his great grandchildren, Quinn Padilla, Harrison Padilla and Nila Jaya; and his sisters, Luz Quinones, Aurelia Quinones, Carmen Quinones and Lily Lorenzo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
